Hari ini, ketika membuka halaman google, ehh ada gambar lucu di halaman awal navigasinya.

Jadi tema google atau yang biasa disebut Doodle (ikon google yang bertema) hari ini adalah Winter solstice.
Karena ikon gambarnya yang lucu..... kayaknya seru juga kalo membahas tentang Winter Solstice di blog ini. hehehe

THERE was once upon a time a poor miller who had a very beautiful daughter.Now it happened one day that he had an audience with the King,and in order to appear a person of some importance he told him that he had a daughter who could spin straw into gold. "Now that's a talent worth having," said the King to the miller; "if your daughter is as clever as you say, bring her to my palace to-morrow, and I'll put her to the test." When the girl was brought to him he led her into a room full of straw, gave her a spinning-wheel and spindle, and said: "Now set to work and spin all night till early dawn, and if by that time you haven't spun the straw into gold you shall die." Then he closed the door behind him and left her alone inside.

So the poor miller's daughter sat down, and didn't know what in the world she was to do. She hadn't the least idea of how to spin straw into gold, and became at last so miserable that she began to cry. Suddenly the door opened, and in stepped a tiny little man and said:

SWAN MAIDEN

THERE was once a hunter who used often to spend the whole night stalking the deer or setting traps for game. Now it happened one night that he was watching in a clump of bushes near the lake for some wild ducks that he wished to trap. Suddenly he heard, high up in the air, a whirring of wings and thought the ducks were coming; and he strung his bow and got ready his arrows.

But instead of ducks there appeared seven maidens all clad in robes made of feathers, and they alighted on the banks of the lake, and taking off their robes plunged into the waters and bathed and sported in the lake. They were all beautiful, but of them all the youngest and smallest pleased most the hunter's eye, and he crept forward from the bushes and seized her dress of plumage and took it back with him into the bushes.

THERE was once upon a time a widow who had two daughters.The eldest was so much like her in the face and humor that whoever looked upon the daughter saw the mother. They were both so disagreeable and so proud that there was no living with them.

The youngest, who was the very picture of her father for courtesy and sweetness of temper, was withal one of the most beautiful girls ever seen. As people naturally love their own likeness, this mother even doted on her eldest daughter and at the same time had a horrible aversion for the youngest--she made her eat in the kitchen and work continually.

Among other things, this poor child was forced twice a day to draw water above a mile and a-half off the house, and bring home a pitcher full of it.One day, as she was at this fountain,there came to her a poor woman,who begged of her to let her drink.

Someday when i do blog walking, i found a blog that review about a fairytale-magic-place.
it look like a wonderlandd.... an i feel like an Alice and the rabbit. oh well.
The place just look like place from The Lord of The Ring movie is really really real *hell yah u know what i mean*

that's the rare's dragon blood trees. this tree only can be found on this island and can life for 300 years!! uhwoowww
and just hear the name of this tree is remind me of something about princess and prince charming and far far away kingdom. hmm........

this is imaginary plants but it really there here in socotra. name is desert rose.

finally i'm back in blogging.
