Sanur Village Festival (SVF) event run from 4 august 2010 until 8 august 2010. there so many event and festival, such as kite festival and competitions, Sanur village cycling (city tour), Bali culinary challenge, fishing tournament, yoga village, and so many more. all the activities attend and followed by more than 15 country around the world.The most attractive and have a great fun (for me especially :) ) is the culinary booth that take place at Segara Beach, in Grand Bali Beach Hotel area. there so many restaurant and hotel from Sanur village participate to create a booth. they served the popular food from their restaurant with lower price than usually. I think there more than 20 booth which presenting the wide range of food and drink. there Italian food like Massimo, Japanese food like Ryoshi, delicious dessert in Flapjack, wines in Hattenwines, there also Kopi Bali House, lazer Bar, Arena Bar, and hotel like Puri Santrian. All served the very delicious foods and beverages!! I love them all !
one of my favourite, which is there so many, is flapjack. I love the waffle with a scoop of ice cream on top. they’re so yummy! I also love the alcohol ice cream, baileys. the taste is so rich and really like baileys liquor. but it’s safe, and will not get you drunk .
I have so many favourite food also, like pecking duck from Puri Santrian, pork ribs from Porkys, and sushi set from Ryoshi. the pecking duck is so delicious, the duck meat is so soft with a spicy dressing sauce. The pork ribs in Porkys also very soft, but the sauce is more spicy than pork ribs from Arena Bar and café. the sushi set served with fresh salmon and soya sauce. all that food make me want more and more… I can’t stop eating while I stand there! I hope somebody save me from here…before I became a pig. LOL.
that was a great part that I love most from Sanur Village Festival. you know, what part can be better than a hall full of booth from outstanding restaurant and bar, which served a great taste food with a lower price? I can’t denied it, and I think u can’t denied it too. Plus, you can enjoy the food while watching so many performance on a stages every night. with free. ahh… feel in heaven. I spent 3 night there, I come there, and really hard to go back home. so I repeating come until the last day.
The last day is so sad for me… with the huge firework that sign the end of Sanur Village Festival, that also sign the end of the day I can get a venue with so many delicious food… because if I go to the real restaurant the price is so expensive, I can’t handle it. So as today I said goodbye for my pork ribs, my waffle, and baileys ice cream… and now I start already missing them :) -phi 090810-
